👤 About the Founder
All workshops are led by Tanisha Zaman, a youth mentor, political writer, public speaker, and education advocate. Tanisha has written for major outlets such as The Times and Thred Media, and has spoken on platforms including Times Radio and LBC. She has advised national campaigns and government bodies, and currently serves as a communications officer, youth board member, and graduate student of science communication at UCL.
With experience spanning grassroots activism, political education, and creative mentoring, Tanisha brings an energetic, relatable, and professional approach to every session—empowering young people to speak up, think critically, and step into their future with confidence.
Alongside Tanisha, select sessions are also delivered by a network of leading educators, academics from top institutions, and guest contributors including former parliamentarians and media experts with experience in broadcast, education, policy, and youth development.
🌟 What Tanisha’s Talent Stands For
Tanisha’s Talent is more than a coaching programme — it’s a mission to equip young people with the skills, confidence, and critical awareness to shape their futures. Rooted in the belief that every voice matters, the programme empowers young people to Think deeply, Talk confidently, and Take Action boldly — whether in the classroom, their communities, or future careers.
Founded by Tanisha Zaman, a working-class East Londoner from an immigrant background, this initiative is grounded in lived experience. Tanisha knows firsthand the barriers many young people face when navigating education and employment systems that aren’t built with them in mind. That’s why every session is designed not just to teach, but to level the playing field — building communication, creativity, and confidence for real-world success.
Through a mix of public speaking, political education, creative writing, university preparation, and career-focused coaching, Tanisha’s Talent helps students from all backgrounds speak up, stand out, and step forward.
Whether it's a group of 10 or an assembly of 90, the programme brings equity, energy, and excellence to every space it enters — because talent deserves to be seen, heard, and supported.
